Community Connectivity
From the beginning, we have worked to connect people within our community to the resources they need. Through Discover Osceola residents are connected to Osceola programs, amenities and services. Discover Osceola allows residents the opportunity to become involved in local organizations. Organizations get a chance to interact with people in their community and hear their personal needs. Attendees learn about community offerings through interactive displays, informative programing and hands on activities in a fun and festive family environment.
Block Party Express
A block party on wheels is made available for a modest rent to non-profits, neighborhood associations and faith groups in partnership with KUA.
Assessment
Keeping our finger on the community pulse is key to Community Vision’s success in identifying issues important to Osceola’s citizenry. Community Vision administers close to 1,000 comprehensive opinion surveys annually utilizing a special incentive provided by Tupperware Brands. Results are shared with community leaders, elected officials, influence leaders and other policy makers giving voice to all facets of the community.
